Unforgettable Anniversary at Sea with Captain George A True Greek Adventure, Guided by a Master of the Aegean Celebrating our anniversary on a boat just off the coast of Glyfada, Greece, we were fortunate enough to have Captain George at the helm—a man whose passion and expertise turned our special day into an unforgettable memory. Despite the challenging weather, George’s calm confidence, drawn from a remarkable naval career and a lifetime of maritime knowledge, immediately set us at ease. His ability to navigate the lively Aegean waters—far from the tranquil scenes often seen on social media—was nothing short of masterful. With every maneuver, the boat felt steady and secure, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the adventure. George’s local insight is unparalleled. He whisked us away to one of his many hidden gems—secluded coves that felt worlds away from the everyday, with waters so crystalline we almost believed we had drifted into the Caribbean. These private anchors were not only breathtaking but also safe, a testament to George's deep understanding of the sea. What truly sets Captain George apart is his heartfelt approach to hospitality. He curated an authentic Greek meal for us, introducing each dish with the story of its origin and the care with which it was sourced. Every bite was a journey through Greek tradition and flavor. As if that wasn’t enough, he surprised us with a cake and candle, along with other thoughtful touches that made us feel celebrated and cherished. Throughout the day, we often found ourselves marveling at George’s ability to do it all—steering, anchoring, serving, cooking, cleaning—effortlessly. At one point, I turned to my wife and joked that he must be using some sort of magic to keep everything running so smoothly. George’s dedication and skill made us feel like we were in the best possible hands, and indeed, we were. Above all, George’s encyclopedic knowledge of the Aegean and his steadfast adherence to safety gave us complete peace of mind. For anyone venturing into these legendary—and sometimes formidable—waters, this is the single most important quality a captain can offer. George has truly mastered every corner of the Aegean, and it shows in every aspect of the experience he provides. If you’re seeking more than just a boat ride—if you want to immerse yourself in the true spirit of Greek adventure, cuisine, and hospitality—look no further than Captain George. He doesn’t just offer a trip; he crafts memories that will stay with you long after you return to shore.

My wife and I booked George via Click&Boat for a 1/2 day boat tour to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. George was extremely accommodating and offered to pick us up along with another couple in Athens. His boat is docked in Anavyssos which is about 45 south of Athens. During our drive to Anavyssos, George shared stories of his career along with historic stories of Greece. Once we arrived to the dock wet set sail and began our trip to Patroklos, a private island nearby. George and his son Charles make sure that you feel comfortable and provided so much hospitality throughout our trip. Upon arriving to the island George set up chairs and cooked for us. The BBQ was excellent!!! He brought a few dishes from home that his wife provided and he grilled fresh fish and lamb. His 15 year old son Charles helped out as well. This was an experience that the 4 of us will never forget. George exceeded our expectations by far. I would highly recommend George. (Tony and Steph) George and Charles were great. If you looking for a friendly experience and to learn the culture you found the right boat trip. You will feel like family the hospitality was amazing. Silver the wife or as George says the admiral cooked some traditional Greek foods simply amazing. Spanakopita I love so much.i look forward to seeing George at the airport he is bringing more spanakopita to take 😁😁 we can’t express enough how much we love spending the day with you guys it was truly a pleasure and thank you again for everything From (Mario and Nina).

We had the best day on Georges boat. It is worth the drive to where his boat is as you will see so many gorgeous sites and much less crowded that the touristy Athens port area. He found gorgeous coves to swim in, told us the history along the route and spoiled us with the most delicious food made by both him and his wife. I can not recommend this charter enough. We will be back and also recommend this to any friend that is visiting the area! We have made friends for life with George. What a fabulous day!

Well this was a unique experience for me and my friends. We didn’t expect much from a boat trip, but Gergio and his son made it so comfortable so cozy and so unique and simple in the best way possible. Bbq was amazing, boat itself had everything you need and Captain was just great with his interesting stories to share. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend if you are looking not for super fancy/luxurious stuff, but for real way the Greek people do like to spend their time with family or friends or just by themselves.
